HTC One (M8) sales apparently off to a flying start

April 2 2014 , Written by HTC Published on #Android News

We’ll probably never know exactly how many HTC One (M8) units HTC sold during its first week on the market, but a new report suggests that the smartphone maker’s new flagship phone has been selling faster than HTC can build it in at least one key region.

Focus Taiwan doesn’t have any hard numbers available, but the site on Friday issued a report suggesting that sales of the new HTC One (M8) are off to a flying start. According to Taiwan-based mobile device retailer PDAKing, orders for the all new HTC One had doubled each day last week following the phone’s initial launch on March 25th.

“Demand is higher than supply right now,” the retailer told Focus Taiwan. The company is selling the 16GB HTC One (M8) model locally for more than $715.

Key features of HTC’s new flagship smartphone include a 5-inch full HD display, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor in the Asia region, a new Duo Camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and HTC’s Sense 6 software. It also sports the most stunning smartphone design to date.

BGR published our full HTC One (M8) review last week and we didn’t mince words. HTC’s new flagship phone is, without question, the best Android smartphone the world has ever seen at this point in time.
